TAC briefed on Causeway Bay pedestrian plan

At their meeting today (September 21), members of the Transport Advisory Committee (TAC) were briefed on the pedestrian plan for Causeway Bay and were invited to share their views on the proposed measures.

"Better planning for pedestrians helps enhance the quality of our living environment and bring a positive impact on the economy.  We welcome proposals to improve the environment and safety for pedestrians and to reduce pollution in Causeway Bay," TAC chairman, Mr Jeffrey Lam Kin-fung, said.

"We hope the administration will take full account of the views collected during the public consultation process, especially the impact on the transport trades and map out the best way forward for the implementation of the proposals," Mr Lam said.
